Snow is the last of Feb.

More snow is reported. Can't get amounts in far west KY with them being in mdt to even heavy snow in that area can't rule out that a few inches occurred.

2 to 5 inches of snow is possible in Mayfield, Fulton, Clinton KY area. 1 to 3 elsewhere seems reasonable.

My sister in Mayfield had a dusting at best - Paducah had a dusting (barely) and never even covered the ground. Just a hint of snow in the grass. Ballard County had the same.

Fulton, KY had 3.5". They did better.

I had hint of snow on roofs nothing more.

There was a little banding going on down towards Fulton I had an idea that they got some good snow. A narrow band from West TN just glazed the Fulton area. Thanks for the report It was kinda good we didn't get slammed because ice storm clean up is still on going.

Yes, I suppose we don't need any additional winter weather. I am ready for spring and severe weather season!

Heading to Oklahoma this week for the Severe Weather Workshop - should be interesting.

NWS PAH is holding a severe weather workshop - Spring Severe Weather Seminar is still scheduled for Thursday March 19 from 9 AM until Noon in Paducah at West KY Tech and Community College (in Crounse Hall). We have changed our content somewhat so we can discuss our historical ice storm while it is still fresh on everyone's mind. I will send out the agenda and other details in the next couple weeks.

That info is from Rick Shanklin. There will also be a big severe weather conference at John A Logan College (South IL) the third week of March.

Both events should be great.

Thanks for telling about those two events. I don't think I will be able to make those events. I will post them on here, and they should be great events to attend.

I hope that in a few years I can start chasing but I been busy with class and stuff like that. Plus I can learn a lot about severe storms before I start anyway.

Yeah, I just had midterms - no fund at all. Will be glad when I am finished. Few more months left!

Looks like an active period coming up next week. Sunday into next Friday. Have to keep an eye on the storm tracks, though.

Looks active, at the very least.
