6 AM CST TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO
6 AM CST TUESDAY.

LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL DEVELOP AND EXPAND NORTH ACROSS
THE ENTIRE AREA TONIGHT. WHILE THE PRECIPITATION WILL REMAIN VERY
LIGHT...IT WILL BE FALLING INTO AIR THAT IS BELOW THE FREEZING
MARK. THIS WILL RESULT IN LIGHT ICING OF AREA ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY
ELEVATED SURFACES AND BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES...WHERE THE PAVEMENT
TEMPERATURE MAY BE BELOW FREEZING EVEN IF THE AIR TEMPERATURES IS
ABOVE.

IT WILL BE COLDEST NORTH OF THE OHIO RIVER...AS THE ABOVE 32
DEGREE AIR SURGES NORTH ACROSS WESTERN KENTUCKY LATE TONIGHT INTO
EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. BY MID MORNING TUESDAY...THE PRECIPITATION WILL
BE DIMINISHING...AND AIR TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR OR ABOVE
FREEZING IN MOST LOCATIONS.

BE AWARE OF THIS POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS ICING PROBLEM OVERNIGHT...AND
MAKE THE APPROPRIATE CAUTIONARY TRAVEL PLANS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEB POSTED FOR THIS AFTERNOON FOR
A SMALL PART OF EXTREME SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND PART OF WESTERN
KENTUCKY. PATCHY ICE OR SLEET ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG
AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM SIKESTON MISSOURI...ONWARD TO LOWES...PRINCETON
AND GREENVILLE KENTUCKY. ANY ICING SHOULD BE LIGHT AND BE CONFINED
MOSTLY TO ELEVATED ROADWAYS AND EXPOSED OBJECTS.

LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE OVER MUCH OF THE REGION
TONIGHT...ESPECIALLY OVER EXTREME SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND WESTERN
KENTUCKY. RAIN OR FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED DOWN ALONG THE
TENNESSEE BORDER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THERE IS A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND INTO
WEDNESDAY. AT THIS TIME...ANY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO
