CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM
CST THURSDAY. THE ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI...SOUTHERN ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA AND WESTERN
KENTUCKY.

IN THE WAKE OF AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT THAT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE
REGION LATE TODAY THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING...GUSTY NORTHWEST
WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH...COMBINED WITH FALLING TEMPERATURES DUE TO THE
SURGE OF ARCTIC AIR...WILL RESULT IN MINIMUM WIND CHILL VALUES BELOW
ZERO LATE TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING. MINIMUM WIND CHILL VALUES
FROM -5 TO -15 ARE EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
INTO SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WITH WIND CHILL VALUES OF 0 TO -10 ACROSS
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...THE SOUTHERN TIP OF ILLINOIS AND WESTERN
KENTUCKY.

IF YOU MUST BE OUT LATE TONIGHT OR THURSDAY MORNING...BE PREPARED
TO DEAL WITH THE COLD. FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA CAN RESULT IF
THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. FOLKS OUT EARLY TOMORROW
