THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM
CST THURSDAY.

* TIMING: LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOWS WILL SPREAD SOUTH AND EAST
ACROSS SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...SOUTHERN ILLINOIS...AND NORTHWEST
KENTUCKY DURING THE MORNING...AND THEN ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF
WEST KENTUCKY PRIMARILY IN THE AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL COME TO
AN END FROM WEST TO EAST THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

* MAIN IMPACT: CONFIDENCE IS HIGH THAT A TOTAL OF 2 TO 3 INCHES OF
SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE THROUGHOUT THE AREA.

* OTHER IMPACTS: TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN BELOW FREEZING
THROUGHOUT THE EVENT...SO ROAD CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ON LESSER
TRAVELED AND UNTREATED ROADS...WILL LIKELY DETERIORATE QUICKLY
DURING THE DAY THURSDAY.

WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
