Severe,Snow,Hard Freeze all in the next 96 hours.

First of all is today's severe weather threat. A warm front is moving ahead of a powerful system. Along with this is a very strong low pressure system moving into the area with a cold front to provide lift. Steep lapse rates and dewpoints in 55 to 60 range is enough for a slight risk of severe weather. Low topped storms moving 50 to 60MPH will possible in West KY and Mid TN this from Midday to Nightfall.

Than the upper levels may be supportive enough to allow for snow to form. Late tonight and tomorrow morning. Since temps will above freezing the snow accumulation seems unlikely but if heavier bands form cannot be ruled out.

Then we will watch the potential for a hard freeze coming on Tuesday and Wednesday.
