Severe storms and tornadoes struck parts of West KY.

Lyon County Is a tornado that is an EF1  By NWS PAH



Some super cells formed today in West Kentucky. The first activity started around 10am with tornado warnings in the Fulton/Graves county. Then activity organized into supercells and line segments with produced large hail, wind damage and yes isolated tornadoes.

There are several damage areas.

Christian- 2 injuries are reported along the Mannington area in north part of the county. 2 homes were destroyed and a few more damaged around the area. Another tornado was reported by spotters a little later around Crofton area.

Some damage is also possible across Hopkins/Muhlenberg County. There is also some damage to be surveyed in the Eddyville KY area and wind damage in Union county. Some storage shed damage was done last night in Ballard and McCracken county with a bow echo.
