in 1968 which is 41 years ago a powerful F-4 tornado touched down north of Murray this tornado damaging the northside of Murray and went into Marshall County and did devastating damage across the area in these two counties the 2 deaths occurred and most of the injuries. This tornado went through Northern Trigg and part of Caldwell before going into Christian County and causing good damaging to the pennyryle Forest Lodge this amazing tornado went 51 miles and 5 counties and caused 2 deaths and 30 injuries it occurred at 11:55pm April 3rd is the start and ending in the pennryle Forest around 1:30am

It went from N Side of Murray and Aurora were the hardest hit communites.
