Memphis and Nashville had a twenty-four hour record snowfall on March 17th 1892. With 17 inches the most ever for Nashville and that still stands today. Train travel and community activities were shut down in a very widespread and wicked late season snowfall. Even West KY more than likely had widespread 10"+ snowfall.
Good luck finding the Four Leaf Clovers in 1892
Happy St. Patrick's Day.
