Some Dry Conditions developing in West KY.

From Drought Monitor. Noaa watches this for possible drought. The D0 you see in the Jackson Purchase region doesn't necessary mean drought, but it was one of the early stages of drought. It does mean some abnormally dry conditions are occurring. Although no one wants rain on the weekend, we could use some rain on the weekdays.

We do get some rain chances this week, scattered summertime thunderstorms will pop up across the areas. Some of these will contain lightning and locally heavy rain.

Meanwhile today is a perfect 5 out of 5 lake day. So get out and enjoy it.
