Blizzard (1978) production

This is an anniversary but it should be a movie production that you can do while laying in the fiction that is snowfall 30 years later with some hot chocolate in hand. So grab your production for this look back that several of your NWS offices show you on a precursor storm in West KY that laid west KY snow covered. Then watch from Kentucky northward get socked from one of the worst snowstorms ever of course for west KY came along Dec 22nd and 23rd 2004 though. Anyway check out this good link which leads to good links and enjoy the production any info about this storm on Jan 25th-27th or even the storm but a week before in Paduach and West KY there was a widespread 11 inch snowfall on Jan 16th then 6 inches during the Blizzard of 78 and also strong winds in excess at times of 40 and 50mph caused some of that snow that didn't totally melt and the new snow to blow into giant drifts.
