Boomin The Call Map (1/21-1/22)

This call map is courtesy of Geology Com. For this call map I fell that there is a zone mostly north of US 62 that will probably see moslty snow with maype some sleet or freezing drizzle mixing in. Strong foricng may also led to some heavy nsows just before and during morning rush hour then turn lighter after 6 or 7am. Then in the southern part of the area change to rain or freezing drizzle most precip sohuld be over by 11am with a stray flurry or sleet as the wind changes to the west northwest in the afternoon. This is a pretty hazardous travel morning rush hour so rember your Winter WX safety rules.

Call map tonight 2nd one for (1/22)

Forest Green- Which is your area includes Daviess, Henderson, Mclean, Union, and Webster counties. I like for mostly all snow and maype some sleet in your area. Very slimar to what you said depending on strength of the warm air which still looks ot be mostly all snow with a little sleet maype parts of Webster and Mclean counties get a little rain just before the end depending on the stength of warm air advection. (very slimar situation in Illnois and Indiana to)
Orange- Mccracken, Ballard, Livingston, and Crittenden. Still mostly snow/sleet in this area maype not as much as the Forrest Green zone but still some snow/sleet acculamtions possible. Frezzing rain can't be ruled out here.
Brown Green Zone- Caldwell, Marshall, Calloway, Lyon, Hopkins. This is probably going to be the hardest zone to make a forcast for. This area is sitting on the mostly snow/ Ice with a little snow and sleet line. Areas like Calvert City though Madisonville north in this area have abetter chance at seeing more snow than ice. While south of that line in areas like Murray, Dawson Springs look to be a total mix of sleet, snow, frezzing rain but freezing rain and sleet should be the dominit precip probably unless we get supised will end as rain and my briefly melt. With lows in the upper teens any wet spots on the roads freeze and amke trael hazardous Tuesday Night.
Gray Zone- Christian, Trigg, Todd, Muhlenburg where I live at. This could be a very interesting zone to be in. If more moisture is present some decent ice acculamtions maype .1 to .2 inches may be possible on top of a very small coat of snow and sleet. Like you said this is the fun zone looks quite nightmarish for travel in this area so far on Tuesday Morning. While .1 inch of ice don't see like that much a Central City or Hopkinsville morning rush hour trip on that .1 inch of ice is probably enough for schools to cancell and even afternoon events to reschedule. Ice in Kentucky can be a hazard to travel. I will be looking forward to see the progress of the snow/ice here interesting if verifes. With warm air advection rain may melt a good deal of fun away.
Yellow Zone- Graves, Carlise, Hickman, Fulton counties. This also looks to be a pretty nasty situaiton for some light ice acculamtion and maype a half inch of snow. If the moisture is the models is under done you could be looking at an decent icing event. Snow/Sleet/Rain should follow this system out of the zone by 11am.I will have to update that on my blogspot this will probably change as I do another update on Tommrow afternoon.

Call map number 1 sun night update (1/22)

coutersyo f geology.com a call map. Snow with some sleet may be possible in the Henderson/Owensburo/Morganfield KY area. If mositure is underodne by models some good sno acculamtion is possible going arrgessive with 1-4 at the time. WIth a mix to the west and some 1/10 to 2/10 ice acculamtion from Fulton though Murray though Hopkinsville and Central City/Greenvilel KY.
