For Hopkinsville KY with 5.2 inches and snow still falling though 9 or 9:30am we have surpassed our seasonal average of 9.2 inches of snow.
This is the first above average snowfall winter for Hopkinsville since the Winter of 2002-2003.
Paducah, Henderson, and Owensboro are also pretty close to their averages for this winter, despite a somewhat late start.
Since Owensboro/Henderson has reported up to 6 inches of snow and 6 to 8 with the last event, plus several other minor events they are above average as well.
