Hi! I am in Lexington and found your blog while searching for SW KY weather. We are planning to travel to Cadiz tomorrow and have been getting different reports. Is it just snow at this point? Or icy as well? Thanks!

In Cadiz it is mostly all snow some sleet may mix in, but pretty much all snow. They have about 3 maybe close to 4 inches of snow on the ground right now. With 2 to 5 more expected for the rest of the night into tomorrow morning.

Hey, thanks so much for the info! The person we spoke with at the state park said they were expecting 1-3". Sounds like she was a little off. I wonder how those roads would be by tomorrow afternoon.

probably the main roads may clear by tomorrow afternoon, but secondary roads may be nasty into Monday.
