Mostly due to the heat of the summer and not a rainfall deficient there is a little bit of Moderate(D1) drought located in Todd County and surrounding areas. The rest of Western KY is in abnormally dry conditions(D0). This classification is due to the heat causing some stress on the agriculture in the area. Rain chances do go up over the weekend into Monday as Scattered Thunderstorms are possible.
