River Flood Situation

Major Flooding
- Ohio River at Cairo(should crest Friday). Some road closures along the river, and any unprotected property along the river is the concern.
- Ohio River at Grand Chain (should crest Friday) Some road closures along the river, and any unprotected property along the river is the concern. If any heavier rain arrives next week, another crest is possible.

Moderate Flooding
- Mississippi River at New Madrid(should crest over the weekend any heavier rains next week could cause another crest). Roads may close, any property could be threatened.
- Ohio River at Shawneetown, and Mount Vernon(should crest within a day or two, than start to fall). Rural roads around the river, are closed.

Minor Flooding
- All the rest of the rivers. Some rural roads may close, and farmland could flood. The Green River at Paradise and Calhoun is falling back towards Minor Flood Stage, and should exit flood stage by early next week.
