.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP IN THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY TONIGHT...THEN MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS TENNESSEE AND
KENTUCKY MONDAY. LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL OCCUR NORTH AND
WEST OF THE TRACK OF THIS LOW.

MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM CST MONDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS...ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED ON MONDAY.

* TIMING...LIGHT RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW DURING THE EARLY TO MID
MORNING HOURS ON MONDAY. A PERIOD OF STEADIER AND HEAVIER SNOW
IS POSSIBLE BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION ENDS LATE IN THE DAY.

* MAIN IMPACT...TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE SLIGHTLY ABOVE
FREEZING DURING THIS SNOW EVENT. AS A RESULT...SOME OF THE SNOW
WILL MELT ON CONTACT WITH PAVED SURFACES. WHILE MOST OF THE
ACCUMULATION WILL BE ON GRASSY SURFACES...A SLUSHY ACCUMULATION
IS LIKELY ON ROADS DURING PERIODS OF HEAVIER SNOW.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
