Lake Day 5 out of 5 Friday

We can already call Friday a 5 out of 5 lake day. Perfect weather on that day with highs around 90ish and mostly sunny skies. I will also do a lake day for the 4th of July as well. Although not related to Friday the heat starts to pick up and with it the rain chances as well into the 4th of July.

Storms from west of Uniontown KY and over from La Center to Columbus KY may go severe at any moment. These storms may pick up in forward speed and be impacting your community sooner than you think. Severe Storms do appear possible behind this mess of rain moving across the Lake Barkley area as of now. We will need to watch and see if storms across Missouri will get organized and try to make a run at Western Kentucky. If they do damaging winds could occur.

Don't forget about lightning awareness week this weekend at the lake. Some scattered storms are possible from tonight into Sunday. Not a total washout but beware of lightning in any thunderstorms you may run into this weekend.

Lake Day 4 out of 5

Lake Day of 4 out of 5 for tomorrow across all area lakes. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80's with some chance of rain after sunset Friday.

Tornado Watch just to the east and south of Western KY.

Tornado Watch 541 will be going out for several Middle TN counties. Western KY(with the exception of South-Central KY counties Logan,Warren, Simpson) are not included. The threat of storms may extend into Northern Middle TN but should stay east of the cold front which is over Southwestern KY.
